The Training Center hosts a wide variety of events, from galas, corporate events, weddings, sporting events, and festivals. Venue policies may be different from event to event so please check the individual event page for specific details prior to attending each event.


Currently we do not have ATM on site.



Bags and Purses may be subject to search and will be tagged upon entry. Backpacks are prohibited.  Maximum Bag size for all events is 16’”x16”x4.



We do not have required caterers. Any caterer must provide a VA Health Department License and an ABC License, if they are providing any alcohol.

Guest Services 
Guest services team members are available at each event and can assist with venue information and to report items lost or found.


Guests with Disabilities
The Training Center is accessible to all areas of the venue for our Guests with disabilities.

* Accessible parking is located within our main lot is available on a first come first served basis for patrons with valid accessible tags.
* Venue gates are accessible for our guests with disabilities. Note that paths within the football field area are gravel.

Lost and Found Items

Contact the staff directly at 804-646-2600 for details regarding lost items. Patrons who find items during an event are asked to drop the item off with an event staff member. All items are kept for 30 days.


The Facility shares a 227 spot parking lot with the Dewey Gottwald Center owned by The Science Museum of Virginia.  During regular weekday hours, the first two rows are reserved for patients of the Bon Secours Health Systems Offices, all other parking is first come first serve. Valet is available upon request for an event.

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed at Training Center events unless otherwise specified on the event page or if used as a service animal.

Community Park

The park located at the end of the training camp is open daily with entry gates and parking available on West Leigh Street.   The park is subject to closing on event days.  Private events will be posted on the Event Calendar. The Washington Football Team invested in a permanent Play 60 course that features an astroturf playground with 40 yard dash with a solar powered timing device, ninja steps, floating boards, half rounds, U-turn ramp, sway steps, traverse walls and agility trainers.

Re-Entry is not allowed for events unless otherwise noted on the event page.

Outdoor events will be serviced through Portajohns while indoor events have Restrooms available within each event space. All restrooms are accessible for our guests with disabilities.

We are a non smoking campus. This includes electronic/vapor cigarettes


Unfortunately, since the venue houses medical offices which have hippa regulations.  We do not conduct daily tours of the venue.  However, this can be arranged during special events thru your event manager.  

Venue Gates
The venue has 5 gates available for admission into the venue. Venue gates usually open one hour prior to show time. Check the event page to determine exact gate time for each event. Gate (1) is used primarily for our Accessibility Guests, Gate (2) is mainly and emergency Entrance, Gate (3) is to the Terminal Lot Gate (4) and Gate (5) are located on Leigh Street


What Items are Allowed Inside the Training Center
Patrons are encouraged to bring items that will help enhance their event experience. Items allowed inside Training Center varies per event. We strongly advise you to check the individual event page for details 1 week prior to the event. Items allowed may change based on attendance and event organizer preference. Items typically allowed for most events are include:
Lawn chairs (for most events, please check individual event pages for details)
Blankets ( please check individual event pages for details)
One bottle of water (any size, limit 1 per person)
Purses  (they may be subject to search by security personnel prior to entering the venue)  Maximum size 16’X16” x4”
Raincoats or ponchos, small umbrellas
Small, non-professional cameras with a ‘no-flash’ setting. Camera policy is subject to change without notice so please check individual event pages for details

What Items are Prohibited Inside the Training Center?
Weapons of any kind
Pets of any kind (unless it is a service animal)
Food & beverages – unless specified on the venue event page that the event is a “picnics allowed” event
Tents or staking
Audio or video recorders
Grills/open flames of any kind inside or outside the venue
Cameras with professional lenses and flash photography. If you are a member of the media please contact the venue for permission to shoot the event at (804)-646-2600. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for this request to be authorized.
